College Of Fine Arts

The College of Fine Arts at the University of Montevallo is steeped in excellence and has built a reputation as one of the strongest Arts communities in the region.  From Music, Theatre, Communication and Art to College Night (homecoming) and community outreach, this campus shows that the Arts truly make a difference.

Faculty and students at Montevallo dedicate their talents, time and energy to build enduring quality programs that nurture our university, our community and our future.  Our reputation for excellence in the Arts is based on the combination of the rich traditions of performance and a life-affirming liberal arts education.  We have a college and departments’ of Music, Theatre, Communication, and Art that are known for their professionalism and awarded for their distinction and achievements.  At the University of Montevallo, almost twenty-five percent of the student population majors in one of the program of the College of Fine Arts.  Our students and graduates are highly successful and our programs continue to garner awards and recognition.
